As part of our Community Rewards Programme I am delighted to announce that Ladybird Internet Ltd will be delivering a web site for the Kings School Tyneside Old Boys Cricket Club to be launched at the end of the fourth quarter 2009.
As part of our committment to delivering web services into our community we are delighted to be offering this service free of charge for a year in order to:
- Increase awareness of the activities of the club
- Provide a stable platform for future growth of the site
- Allow historical data to be entered into a database which will be useful to all club members
- Build links to other sponsor web sites and increase visitors
We will be supporting this site with the launch of some major technologies including RSS feeds, AJAX, a heavy duty SQL database, email services (including email accounts for ANY member of the club who wants one), and a historical database recording every match and a timeline of the history of the club to which members past and present will be able to contribute.
Watch this space for more information. The project inception date is 22nd August and we expect to launch the site before Christmas 2009 with heavy promotion starting in 2010 in time for the summer season.
