Since the domain name northeastchauffeurs.co.uk is currently the subject of a court case (see here) we have decided that it might as well be put to good use.
The original site has now been removed and we are redirecting the domain name to a holding page which recommends people looking for those services to contact Chauffeur Drive North East at www.cdne.co.uk. We have had a look at Chauffeur Drive North East's web site and made some enquiries. They have been around for over ten years and (according to reports) offer a professional service of exceptional value. We are delighted to recommend...
Well, after six months we have decided to take Jason Haswell to court as he hasn't paid his bill. He commissioned us to build a web site for his business back in July last year and we managed to place it at the top of Google after less than three weeks online. He promised to settle his account by 7th August 2009 and we are still waiting despite many reminder letters, cards dropped through his letterbox, messages left on his phones, text messages and emails. He has made no attempt to contact us and ignored recorded delivery letters.

We are about to start work on a project that is a little different in that we are putting together a portfolio of microsites, e-commerce, blogs, wikis, and multimedia systems (including subscriber video delivery) for authors writing books (amongst other things) The Ark Of The Covenant, The Grave of Jesus, The Real King Arthur and many more. Part of this project will involve digitising their books (some written in 1980 don't have digital versions available) and converting their DVD and VHS material (including TV interviews from the US networks) into Silverlight.

This has to be a coincidence right? From April 2010 the UK postcode database (PAF) is to be made free. This is what the www.mapme.biz site was designed to promote and it looks as people in high places have listened to us and people like our friends over at www.freethepostcode.org. Just goes to show what people power can do! We are planning to offer a very wide range of postcode and geographic / geocoding services as soon as it's legal to do so. I am delighted to announce that Ladybird Internet Ltd has been awarded the development contract for a major project which will change the way businesses do business online in the North East of England. More details will follow.
One of our most successful sites in terms of visitors and search engine positioning is now being retired. This is because we are developing a new service called I RECRUIT EU - a complete recruitment solution for job seekers and employers across Europe. We will be working with developers around the world to deliver a standards based solution free of charge for employers and job seekers. Watch this space for more information.
After a six year run this site has been retired. Whilst it enjoyed high visitor numbers we feel that this service is better incorporated into some of our other Lanzarote Business Network services.
